Tudla Productions Group, Inc. (TUDLA) is an alternative, non-profit group of filmmakers, students and cultural workers that utilizes different media in drawing attention to the plight and struggle of marginalized sectors and to issues of national significance.
Through the support of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, TUDLA will launch the 1st PANDAYANG LINO BROCKA Political Film and New Media Festival in August 2009. This is a two-part festival that will be first held in schools and then in the indigent communities in Quezon City and Manila. The target audience in the school and communities numbers to 4,000. The works to be featured are from all over the country. We have sent invitations to schools with mass communication, film and related courses to over 90 schools outside Metro Manila and over 20 schools in Quezon City and Manila.
The program we have clinched in the schools so far include film showings in the following dates and venues: August 5-6 at UP Diliman and August 10 at Asia Pacific College. There are other film showing dates in communities and factories/workplaces in Metro Manila within August.
In our desire to draw audience for the festival, we would like to invite your company to become our media partner. We would like to solicit your company’s support in publishing our event in the lifestyle/community news/bulletin of your paper or feature our event through an article with photo. We can provide the article and photo.
We hope that you may be able to assist our group again in this worthy endeavor. Please contact us through 0921-6020007 or 0915-3914765.
